Spring is here, and this is the time of year when food trucks—along with the food truck parks they inhabit—come into their own.
You can never have too many food truck parks, and now Melbourne’s north-west is saved with a new Ascot Vale food truck park opening this week, and it’s called The Ascot Lot.
It all kicks off on Friday 27 October and boasts a lineup including Poke Time, Two Fat Indians, Nuoc Mama’s and Dip’d Gourmet Donuts. Moving forward the lineup will change weekly.
The Ascot Lot stands on a former car yard and is loaded up with pastel picnic tables (good for the Gram), timber stools as well as an indoor bar area with brick booths, so you’re covered no matter the weather.
The park will also feature local talent with singers, guitarists, bands and more locked in over the coming weeks, so it’s the perfect spot for a catch up with mates over some food and bev.
You can tap into espresso martinis every weekend on tap for a cool $10, and there’s also an on-site coffee shop serving up caffeinated goods as well as jaffles. Your coffee and jaffle combo will also only set you back $10, bargain city.
