Us Melburnian’s sure do love a food truck park. If we’re not devouring morsels of food flung from a truck at The Food Truck Park, Hank Marvin, or Welcome To Thornbury who knows where you’d find us—probably in a gutter somewhere.

But anyway, the masterminds behind The Food Truck Park will be putting on the biggest food truck festival—the aptly named Food Truck Festival—the world’s most liveable city has ever seen in May, and it’ll be held smack back in the CBD at Birrarung Marr.

The festival will be divided up into north, east, south, and west Melbourne so we’ll really find out where your loyalties lie as the trucks inject food straight into your mouth from each of Melbourne’s most popular neighbourhoods.

South side forever btw.

There will be more than 40 food trucks at The Food Truck Festival, featuring cheese, fried chicken, tacos, Asian, vegan, beer, wine, and a ton of other options yet to be announced. There will also be a district named Sweet Lane which will serve up some of Melbourne’s best desserts.

The full lineup will be announced closer to the event, so we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled.
