There’s A Pyjama Party Fun Run Coming To Melbourne

St Vincent’s Hospital is putting the ‘fun’ in Fun Run this year. To celebrate their 125th bday (happy birthday, you utter legends) they’re hosting a Princes Park fun run in April...and you can wear your PJs.

Let’s clarify slightly. If you sleep in the nude, or tops without bottoms, that’s not gonna fly. We’re talking daggy flannel pyjamas, satin onesies, novelty chicken costumes, or silky boxer shorts (if they have ‘Horny Little Devil’ or VB cans on the back, that’s probably okay...but you should consider chucking them for the sake of future partners).

All money raised from the PJ run will go toward the 57,000 patients treated every year at St Vincent’s. Runners can pick from either a 3km, 6km or 10km track—consider the breathability of your pyjamas before committing to the 10km...

And bouncing along in your onesie isn’t the only thing on offer: there’s also gonna be free entertainment, face painting (shotgun tiger), a jumping castle for the kids, a petting zoo and food trucks galore. All participants will also get a free running t-shirt and goodie bag.

Registrations are open this week, so get cracking.
