It’s that time of the year once again, time to splash some cash on the lady who made you.

And just in case you’ve left it to the last minute, we’ve got you sorted with all the good stuff that is still taking bookings.

So, here you go, here are the best things to do this coming Mother’s Day. The best part? You can say it was your idea all along.

‘Haut Patisserie’ High Tea

It wouldn’t be Mother’s Day without a high tea, and the one that InterContinental Hotels & Resort are putting on is pretty epic.

The ‘Haut Patisserie’ High Tea will see art and patisserie come together with specifically crafted macarons infused with Champagne jelly in a rich buttercream.

Brunch At Chin Chin

Usually, we’re lining up for a while to get into Chin Chin, but here’s your chance to book a spot at the well-known restaurant to celebrate Mum.

BrunCHIN’ is a one-of-a-kind sharing menu designed by Executive Chef Benjamin Cooper. Get stuck into wok fried crab omelettes, corn fritters with pork belly, and sticky rice with grilled banana. Chin Chin is also partnering with MECCA MAX which will see the first 100 bookings receive a special gift for mum.

Grab Some Flowers At Good Times Milk Bar

Good Times Milk Bar serves up good times, I mean, it’s in the name. And this Mother’s Day will see pop-up florist Bloom Boy set up shop at the café.

Sold in customised paint tines, there are three size options starting at $40.

Where: Good Times Milk Bar, 83 Tucker Road, Bentleigh

Dessert At 400 Gradi

Most people wouldn’t book a table at 400 Gradi just for dessert, but that’s exactly what will be happening this Mother’s Day.

The Giardino della Mamma is a limited-edition dessert that features a dark chocolate soil base, creamy honeycomb parfait, sour cherry, a hint of micro basil, and a dark chocolate tree topped with fairy floss. Sounds wild.

Ever wanted to make your own gin? What better way to learn than from Richmond’s master of all things gin, Brogan Carr.
