Bust out your fanciest pair of Bardot pleather tights and off the shoulder lace crop, because the Grampians food scene is about to get a little bit ~fancy~.
Dunkeld’s ‘Royal Mail Hotel’ will be opening a new restaurant in October of this year called Wickens at the Royal Mail Hotel, named after the original’s Executive Chef (two for you, Glen Coco, you GO, Glen Coco!). This means saying TTFN to the Royal Mail Hotel dining rooms, which will be closing when the new eatery opens it’s phresh AF doors, allowing for the hotel’s casual dining counterpart, Parker Street Project, to double in size (!!).
Executive Chef extraordinaire, Robin Wickens, says the garden and the seasons will have a yuuge part to play in the new restaurant’s menu, and will be complemented by the location’s uninterrupted view of the Southern Grampians.
Needless to say, we all have our thumbs hovered over Instagram ready for the first foodie post.
