Three’s A Trend | S’more Brekkie Waffles

We think it’s time to throw out all pretence of clean eating this year. You can always start next year, and besides, it’s not your fault that there’s so many loaded doughnuts, freakshakes and extreme ice-creams floating around.

Since you’re turning over a new (unhealthy) leaf, we think it’s only fair you know about Melbourne’s latest distinctly un-clean eating trend—S’mores for breakfast. Get s’more-all.

Mayday Coffee and Food

If you haven’t tried their S’more chocolate waffle sandwich, we’re sending out a mayday. The obvious adult choice, Mayday Coffee and Food’s chocolate waffle sandwich includes a torched marshmallow, cookie parfait, crumble, salted caramel and chocolate fudge. A salty, sweet, crispy, chewy start to the morning, you haven’t known decadence until you’ve devoured this dish.

Waffle Club

Dangerously accessible in the heart of Queen Victoria Market, Waffle’s Club’s newest addition will have you begging for s’more. If you have even a smidgen of human in you, you’ll be drooling over this flawlessly crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside waffle topped with toasted marshmallow, whipped cream and thick caramel sauce. Go nuts with additional toppings like strawberries, Nutella or peanut butter if you need s’more.

Hammer & Tong 412

For a s’mores waffle with a touch of restraint, head to Hammer & Tong 412. Their Hulk-coloured matcha waffle is topped with toasted marshmallows, strawberries, red bean ice cream and heapings of rich dark chocolate fudge sauce.

Clearly, you have no problems consuming dessert for breakfast. Better check out this complete list of Melbourne's Best Dessert For Breakfast in that case!
