Missed out on the 2018 White Night in the CBD? No worries. You’ll be kept entertained from dusk till dawn in Ballarat this Saturday. This, ladies and gents, is White Night—regional style.
The Ballarat White Night program has some insane installations, performances and exhibitions in store that are guaranteed to leave you shell-shocked.
The crowd favourite—a 5-metre White Night Messenger—is set to return for its third year running. This futuristic archangel comes to life with talented performers and puppeteers, striding the streets and dispensing Insta-worthy goodness to everyone nearby.

True to our Straya’n roots, the Aussie Bush will be a running theme behind many of the works this year. Check out the Ghosts of Eureka street art, Dreamscape, Tectonic Grounds, Blink and Post-Colonial Women in the Landscape.
“White Night Ballarat will offer the chance for Melbournians to get out of town for a truly unique and wonderful experience,” says White Night Artistic Director and Executive producer, David Atkins.
You got that right Atkins—especially when you're talking projections built from skyline drone imaging. These colourful displays are sure to top-off an already darn-right awesome night. We’re praying those delicious raspberry drops from the Sovereign Hill candy shop also make an appearance. Better than gold, those drops.
Where: Ballarat City Centre (various)
When: 7pm – 2am, Saturday 17 March
