Escape The Cold At Melbourne’s Upcoming Winter Gin Market

Is Melbourne the gin capital of Australia? Maybe. You’d certainly think so with all the gin-themed events we’ve got happening all year ‘round. But seriously, what’s better than a generous gulp of high-quality gin to warm you up as we settle under Melbourne’s never-ending Dreary Winter Blanket of Doom?

The Craft & Co. is bringing back their popular Winter Gin Market on Saturday 13 and Sunday 14 July.

With over 10 market stalls of various Aussie distillers, there will be no shortage of stuff for you to try. Some of the stallholders include Imbue Distillery, Bass & Flinders, Brogan’s Way, Blind Tiger, Karu Distillery, Mountain Gin and more. There will also be a guest appearance from Australia’s liqueur masters, Marionette, so get excited.

Included in the ridiculously low entry price of $10 is a $5 voucher to use at the market checkout on the day, which includes free tastings at all the market stalls. Be warned, however, that each session has strictly limited ticket allocations, so once the ticket is sold, that’s it. And in case you thought you could just waltz in and wave your dollars at the door, think again: there are also no walk-ins, so make sure to secure your ticket ahead of time.

You can also have a nibble or a drink in The Craft & Co’s eatery and bar throughout the day, but we suggest you book tables ahead of time to avoid disappointment.
