Shoe addicts, can we have your attention please? As foot collabs go, this one’s pretty special. Aussie shoe juggernaut Wittner has teamed up with the NGV and (in a way) Vincent Van Gogh to release an ultra-exclusive range of art-inspired footwear.
It’s all to coincide with the new Van Gogh And The Seasons exhibition at the National Gallery of Victoria, which (if you missed the iPhone-like queues on opening weekend) is on now and running until 9 July.
Wittner’s new range is called The Art of Style. Four shoes to represent Van Gogh’s summer, autumn, winter and spring. They’re all works of art in their own way, and each one picks up the unique style of the Post-Impressionist master (we’re not Art grads—‘Post-Impressionist’ is as deep as we’re going to go—but judging by the shoes, Vincent really dug florals).
Want to snap up a pair? It’s trickier than you think. We weren’t kidding when we said this hand-stitched range was uber-exclusive. They’re only available in certain stores, and there’s only 124-132 pairs of each shoe in existence (the Été Summer Heel will defs get snapped up quick-smart, if we’re any judge). The Art of Style is on sale, and on shelves, as of right NOW.
