Learn how to be the most environmentally friendly citizen of Earth you can be at the Zero-Waste Festival this month. The festival is back for its second year to offer useful skills, promote sustainable habits, and share practical and realistic ideas on how to live while reducing waste.
There will be a panel event discussing “the formula for a zero-waste city”, a clothing swap from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, and a heap of other workshops, activities and entertainment that will arm you with ways to improve the heavily declining state of our environment.
Festival exhibitors will include Kappi, Under Your Sink and Sea Shepherd Australia, with more to be announced closer to the festival date. Entry is by donation and there are some ticketed events; with proceeds supporting Zero Waste Victoria’s endeavours to tackle the war on waste through education, research and advocacy campaigns.
So do your part and save the date, then and hit up this festival to help creatively and economically reduce waste.
