At this point, Rone needs absolutely no introduction. You’ll be familiar with his ‘Jane Doe’ portraits from earlier in the year at an abandoned house in Alphington, as well as his work on the Silo Art Trail, but now he’s taken on a different challenge—a collaboration with cult NZ umbrella brand BLUNT that will help support Oxfam Australia’s important work.
“I regularly say no to companies pitching product collaborations to me, but this one was an exception,” explains Rone. “The difference is that this is not just about me and BLUNT producing something cool; it’s a project that has tangible benefits for people in real need,” he says. “And it helps that BLUNT is known for making a seriously good product.”
They’re only making 2,500 of these special edition BLUNT + RONE umbrellas. They’ll set you back $129 with BLUNT donating $30 from each umbrella sold to Oxfam Australia.

Grabbing one of these could be timely, apparently, Melbourne is about to cop 3 months worth of rain over the next two days.
