Get ready to indulge in three days of nothing but sugar because The Cake Bake and Sweets Show, aka the Festival of Deliciousness, is returning to Melbourne!
Australia’s biggest live event for baking and cake decorating enthusiasts is back with even more live demonstrations, seminars, hands-on classes, competitions and the greatest cake showcase you’ve ever seen!
The scrumptious lineup includes the world’s speediest chocolate sculptor, Paul Joachim. You can join the chocolate genius for a masterclass where you’ll learn how to carve 15kg of chocolate into edible art. Yes, that’s right…15KG!!
If you’re anything like us and can’t be trusted around that much chocolate, you can watch Paul work his magic and transform a 15kg block of chocolate into a life-sized Michelle Payne.
The show’s lineup will also include the 2016 Masterchef winner Elena Duggan, internationally renowned cake artist Danielle Gotheridge, 'Queen of Chocolate' Kirsten Tibballs and 'King of Eclairs' Tim Clark.
Did we mention the giant expo hall featuring the latest and greatest in baking equipment and ingredients, cake decorating supplies, artisan bakers, chocolatiers and a mouthwatering marketplace packed full of freshly baked goods and gourmet sweets!?
We’ll definitely heading over to the Producers Marketplace to get our hands on some mouth-watering pastries, macarons, pies, and cakes to take home (but let’s be honest, we know they won’t make it that far!).
The Cake Bake and Sweets Show will run from 21-23 October at the Melbourne Convention Centre. Get your tickets here.
