Melbourne’s Unicorn Festival Is Back For Its Second Run This Weekend

Back for the second year in a row, Dandenong Market's Unicorn Party is happening this Sunday 25th of November. Get ready for some sparkle and colour.

The one-day event is free and boasts an impressive line up of unicorn themed things to eat and do. Market stalls will undergo a magical transformation, creating limited edition unicorn theme treats. Let’s break those down further, shall we?

Our must trys include Unicorn Cupcakes from Melina’s Bakery & Larder and Unicorn Dumplings from San San Dumpling House. Other things to indulge in include Unicorn Churros with melted white chocolate sauce and unicorn sprinkles, Unicorn Pork Buns, Unicorn Doughnuts from Dandee Donuts, Unicorn Chai Lattes and Unicorn Crepes.

On top of the great food on offer, there will be plenty of entertainment—especially for the kids—including magical unicorn rides and art and craft workshops.

There will also be amazing unicorn products to shop, think unicorn horns, plushies, jewellery and more.

Jennifer Hibbs, General Manager at Dandenong Market, says that the event will be bigger and better than last years, “We couldn’t believe the turnout at last year’s Unicorn Party, so we decided to throw another celebration for these beautiful creatures in their honour”.

Ride a unicorn, become a unicorn, whatever you’re feeling we suspect they’ll have it covered.
