Chances are you've watched almost everything there is to watch on Netflix, Stan, Disney+ and every other streaming service out there. But now it's time to get back to the legit movies.

With restrictions easing in Victoria, Dromana Drive-In has announced that they'll be reopening the iconic drive-in theatre on Thursday 4 June.

"Great news! (We are) re-opening Thursday 4 June. Of course, things can always change - we could still receive the exemption and open earlier... or the Government could pull back the easing of restrictions...but at this stage, Thursday 4th to Monday 8th June." states their website.

The theatre is yet to update on what will be shown once they reopen, but keep an eye on the website for further updates as they come through.

Dromana Drive-In will be taking every precaution to make sure cinephiles are safe once the screens fire up once again, with these measures being taken:

  • All tickets must be bought online through their website
  • Show your printed ticket or mobile phone screen for scanning
  • Limit of 50 cars per movie
  • Cars park 1 car between the posts (normally 2)
  • Do not arrive without a ticket, there will be no ticket sales at the gate
  • Takeaway food orders via mobile phone from your car
  • Diner doors closed. Food delivered to your car
  • The Playground will not be open
  • Maximum 4 people in toilets at a time, numbers monitored
  • Please stay in your car unless visiting toilets
  • Use Hand Sanitizer provided outside toilets
