The FOMO 2019 Line-up Has Been Announced And We’re Hyped

By Sophie Hodges - 03 Sep 2018

Fire up, guys. The FOMO 2019 line-up has been announced, and it’s freaking epic.

Need a clue? “And if I'm fake I ain’t notice cause my money ain’t." Yep, bow down, guys. Our queen of rap is coming down under for her first ever Australian Festival appearance.

Nicki Minaj is one of the world’s most influential hip-hop artists. She destroys the charts album after album, and she's fronting FOMO 2019, which makes this festival an unmissable event.

Now let’s dissect the rest of the line-up. Mississippi hip-hop duo, Rae Sremmurd aka Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi, will be there. Expect multi-platinum releases like ‘Black Beatles’, ‘No Type’, and their critically acclaimed triple album SR3MM.

Lil Pump’s new album Harvard Dropout is set for release on September 14, meaning FOMO will be a sure place to see the rapper to bring it to the live stage. Also, ‘Gucci Gang’ is probably reason enough to buy a ticket.

Joining these guys is Mura Masa, delivering his tropical-inflected house and beat-heavy hits. 2018 marked the release of his standalone single ‘Move Me’, but you can also expect some a set of world-class Grammy-nominated collaborations, including the A$AP Rocky featured ‘Love$ick’, ‘Firefly’ and ‘What If I Go?’.

Following the release of her triple j Feature Album Isolation, Kali Uchis will be making her Australian debut at FOMO. Also get hyped for Dutch electronic connoisseur San Holo, Aussie dance music royalty Anna Lunoe, Glaswegian producer SOPHIE and London’s Cosha.

Representing the local rota of talent, Carmouflage Rose, Just A Gent and Melbourne DJ MIMI. FOMO’s partnership with triple j Unearthed also makes a much-anticipated return, inviting four different artists per city to join the 2019 tour.

FOMO will also continue to support music charity Heaps Decent, alongside a new partnership with the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre, donating one dollar for every online ticket sold. Nice one.

And as if all that wasn't enough. FOMO By Night will make a welcomed return in 2019 (cities to be revealed soon), and FOMO Eats will offer an array of locally sourced produce and beverages from some of Australia’s greatest makers.

It's also crucial you know these guys operate on one stage, therefore no timetable clashes. I repeat—no timetable clashes.

The deets? The Melbourne show is dropping Sunday 13 January.

Pre-sale access kicks off at 10am local time Wednesday 5 September (you can register here), before general on-sale at 10am local time Thursday 6 September. Get all your tix through here
