Look, we’re simple people here at The Urban List—there are two sure-fire ways to our heart: first and foremost, an Aperol Spritz (with a Sicilian olive, obvz), and a big, heaping bowl of pasta with a side of bread and olive oil for good measure (we'll settle for all Italian food, TBH).
We’re aware that these pleasures aren’t uniquely our own, which is why we’re here with some news to potentially change your entire week: Melbourne, we’re getting an Italian cooking masterclass so you can finally make Nonna proud.
Where is this magical, gluttonous event popping up? At Northland, of course. The Gods of Italian food from 38 Chairs will be teaching us mere mortals how to make a delicious entrée (tuna tartare, thank you very much), a pasta dish (tortellini with pumpkin and ricotta cheese—mind you), and of course, a tiramisu. As if a belly full of knock-out food and a head full of cooking wizardry wasn’t enough incentive to head down for the class, you’ll also get a goodie bag! And, because you can’t really do Italian without an Aperol Spritz, there will of course, be a pop-up bar so you can spritz while you cook—heavenly!
