A grocery box full of ingredients with a label that reads

The gang behind Hanoi Hannah, Tokyo Tina and Firebird has just launched an online Asian grocer called Golden Grocer, where you can score the same produce that they use in their kitchens along with a stack of heat-and-eat meals inspired by the respective dine-in menus.

On the produce front, you’ll find plenty of hard-to-find ingredients like Perilla, Vietnamese mint and the elusive King Brown mushroom. For those a little cagey about venturing from their kitchen comfort zone, there are several recipes on Golden Grocer which’ll guide you—and your bag of fresh ingredients—in the right direction.

If isolation is taking just a little too much out of you, head straight to the heat-and-eat meals where 90% of the work is done for you. The DIY pho packs—reminiscent of Hanoi Hannah’s iteration—are a great place to start; otherwise, nab yourself some Kimchi bolognese or slow-braised Vietnamese beef stew, heat it up and pair it with one of the noodle varietals on offer.

For those who’d prefer to meet in the middle, get on Golden Grocer’s pre-made curry pastes, Viet BBQ sauce or Nuoc Nam sauce and have at it with whatever else you can find in the pantry.

Golden Grocer is like a one-stop-shop for pantry essentials and rarities alike, except you don’t have to stop anywhere with free delivery on orders over $70 and within a 10km radius of Hanoi Hannah New Quarter and their Richmond outpost.

Get your weekly shop done from your desk with more grocers and markets delivering to your door.
