Meatstock Is Coming Back For 2018

Carnivores, you better get in quick, because Meatstock is back in April next year, and tickets are on sale as of right now.

If you missed out on 2017 (or have no idea what we’re talking about), Meatstock is a two-day celebration of “bands and barbecues, butchers and bourbon and plenty of beer.” Also meat, all of the meat. Beef, chicken, pork lamb—everything except fish (fish is basically a vegetable anyway). It involves people grilling meat, eating meat, talking about meat and so on. You get the idea.

Next year’s line-up is looking pretty excellent too. Internationally renowned ‘Pitmaster’ experts Big Moe Cason and Hillbilly Wes (amazing) will be flying in to host BBQ classes and demonstrations. There’s going to be 50 meaty teams from across Australia competing for over $8000 in prizes—competitions like Best BBQ, Best Burger, Best Wings etc.

Liberty Brewing will be supplying the beer, and you can expect a top-notch lineup of live bands, BBQ food trucks and free-flowing bourbon. Tickets will set you back $35 each, or $55 for a weekend ‘Superpass’.

Remember: you don’t make friends with salad.
