The Coburg Food Truck Festival is returning this March, hosting their biggest line-up of four-wheeled kitchens yet. Since summer seems determined to cling to Melbourne like an unsatisfied toddler, you might as well make the most of the warm weather!
Running for two days only, visitors can enjoy street food delights from the likes of Crepes for Change, Taco Truck, Slider on Tyres, Pasta Face and Donut Panic. You require sustenance before winter hits (haven’t you heard of hibernation), and you’ll have plenty of options with steaming dishes of fresh, handmade gnocchi topped with herby bolognaise, or buttery Nutella and strawberry crepes. Food trucks will be trading from 6pm-10pm, so mid-movie meals are totally acceptable.
Grab your buddy with the biggest drive-in friendly car and settle in with a street food feast. Film choices include Batman V Superman, London Has Fallen and My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2—so don’t forget the pillows.
The Coburg Food Truck Festival runs from Wednesday 23 March-Thursday 24 March, starting at 6pm. Tickets are available via the website.
