As the Pet Shop Boys once said, go West where the skies are blue, and that’s what we’re doing. No matter what mood you’re in, Seddon has enough places to cater to every appetite; burgers and shakes, Greek street food and Middle Eastern delights, to name a few. Keep reading to see our picks of the bunch out West.

Copper Pot

The European-inspired menu at Copper Pot will make your drool. With regular seasonal changes, they focus on using fresh, local produce, and serve up the likes of Mornington calamari & squid ink croquettes, Steak tartare with horseradish mayo and sweet onion and Vintage beef ‘striploin'. Their booze list matches the quality of their food, only offering the best of the best.

Charles And Gamon

Serving up some classic Australian dishes, alongside some internationally-inspired food, Charles and Gamon is a boutique pub with a relaxed vibe and an epic booze list, made up of craft beers and local wines.

Lay Low Bar

Okay, technically this is a bar, but they also serve up some great snacks courtesy of The Brotherhood Yiros and Grill. Sip on one of their signature cocktails, we suggest the batanga, and graze on a meze platter of house-made pita bread, skewers, tzatziki, chips, Greek salad and zucchini fritters.

Luxsmith

A modern Asian menu with sensational wine options—what more could you want? Luxsmith’s menu boasts impressive dishes, our pick, the Korean beef cheeks and sticky lamb ribs, but if we’re being honest, it’s all bloody great. We suggest ordering your wine from the ‘lucky dip’ menu. The best part is, pre or post dinner you can cruise next door to the Luxesmith Bar and Wine Shop and keep the booze flowing.

Slider Diner

Boasting one of the best burger menus in Seddon, these guys have something for everyone. Offering up sliders, and regular sized burgers, we suggest having the best of both worlds and ordering one of each. Balance it out with a salad on the side, or go hard and indulge in the house-made popcorn chicken—you won’t be disappointed. Wash it all down with a boozy shake.

Meat The Greek Souvlaki Bar

House-made dips, souvlakis and fries with feta, oregano and lemon – is there anything better? I think not. Chow down on some top-notch Greek food at Meat The Greek, Seddon’s Greek Mecca, with not only amazing souvlaki’s, but a plethora of dishes to get your mouth watering. Saganaki, grilled halloumi and spanakopita, and that’s just the start of it.

Advieh

Twice cooked chips with feta and harissa—hell, yes. Specialising in Middle Eastern cuisine, Advieh has you covered for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Catering for meat lovers, vegetarians and vegans, Advieh will deliver food to make your Mediterranean dreams come true.
