Sephora will be (finally!) opening its first Melbourne store in the heart of the CBD at Melbourne Central on Saturday 28 November - and they're doing it with a bang.
If 8am is too early for all you Sephora buffs, you'll just have to get your beauty sleep the night before - because that's when the entertainment will kick off! With the first 100 lucky shoppers receiving a $50 gift voucher to use at midday when the doors open to the public, it's worth getting in line early.
The new Melbourne store follows Sephora's online launch earlier this month, and will be the third store to open in Australia.
Sure, there's going to be a raft of amazing international brands available in store, but we thought we'd look at the best Aussie brands that will be stocked on the shelves in Melbourne - so keep an eye out for them next week, and remember to support our local brands!
Created by naturopath and nutritionist Anna Mitsios, the Edible Beauty ethos is based on the idea that if you can't eat it, you shouldn't put it on your face! This range is an evolution of Mitsios' love of herbal and natural ingredients, and includes luxurious “edible” toxin-free skin care and therapeutic Beauty Teas made with organic and wildcrafted ingredients.
Taking inspiration from Australian natives like Lillypilly, Lemon Myrtle, and Eucalyptus, Leif's products combine botanical extracts with pure essential oils that offer a uniquely Australian spin on the standard body care. From the rainforest to the outback, their body cleansers, balms and lotions have scents that are truly rooted in Aussie soil.
A men's only brand of skincare, LQD's idea was to create a skin care brand specifically for men that would allow men to feel masculine - whilst still wanting to look as good as they can. Sounds good to us! Their range is about looking after your skin, keeping it well hydrated, and slowing down the ageing process, whilst also being formulated specifically for men's needs.
Alpha-H is a family-run local skincare brand owned, operated and manufactured on the Gold Coast. Their focus is on an effective delivery system that infuses the skin with active ingredients by adjusting the pH to stimulate action at a deeper layer of the epidermis, where new and vibrant cells are replenished and repaired. I'm no expert, but that sounds super science-y. In a great way.
