Set your MSN status to ~BRB^^, because there’s a massive So Fresh dance party on its way to Melbourne next month.
You might have heard of these parties before. They’re called So Freshtivals (nice), and this one’s the Hits Of Autumn (for obvious reasons). A night of DJs and classic tracks from the early noughties’ So Fresh Autumn compilations—AKA the music of Lemon Ruskies and shameful memories.
The Freshtival will be kicking off at The Gasometer in Collingwood, and the DJ line-up is looking thicker than Sandy Cohen’s eyebrows: Cookie vs Small Fry, Dianas B2B DJ BOT, Jade Zoe and Slick Slazenger, just to name a few.
Do whatever you need to do. Text your mates on your sky-blue Nokia 3310. Chuck some butterfly clips in your hair. Dust off that disgusting fedora and let’s do this thing.
Now, who remembers the words to Jamiroquai? Something about a Saturday in 1999, right?
More good news: the annual Melbourne Tarantino Ball is back. Shotgun Ringo.
