Breaking news, guys. Our fave FREE Melbourne music festival just dropped its line-up for Sunday 11 February, and it’s looking pretty effing sweet.
“Shut up and tell us who’s playing.”
Fair call. This year’s St Kilda Festival will feature headline acts like The Jezabels, Dan Sultan, Tkay Maidza, Models, Mia Dyson, Bustamento, Architecture in Helsinki (DJ set) and That Gold Street Sound (winner of the 2017 New Music Stage Competition).
You can catch these guys on the Main Stage (makes sense), but there are six other stage set-ups, not including the Kidzone Stage—Hi-5 fans, you’ll probably want to camp out here.
Crowds are expected to top 40,000 on the big day, and the full line-up includes 60+ bands and DJ sets from some of the country’s hottest young talent. Names coming at ya: Alariyya, Kira Piru, 30/70, Caiti Barker, Sophie Grophy, Arno Faraji, POW! NEGRO, Japanese Wallpaper, Sugar Teeth, Fulton Street, Horns of Leroy, Batz, Cool Out Sun...*TAKES BREATH*...Michael Yule, Dear Matilda, Baker Boy, The Skeleton Club and plenty more. If you like noise and people and food and booze, you’ll probably have a blast. Just stay hydrated, for the love of all that is holy.
For full line-up and performance times, check out the St Kilda Festival website.
