Score Free Bubble Tea From A Hole In The Wall On Swanston Street

Malaysian bubble tea powerhouse, Tealive, have opened the doors (well, sort of) to their first Melbourne CBD location, and they’re giving away free pearl milk bubble tea from 12pm to 4pm tomorrow.

With over 500 locations globally, their Melbourne CBD locale takes a similar format to many of their outlets in South East Asia by occupying disused ATM spaces. Coming in at 2.2 x 2 metres, this will be Tealive’s smallest location to date.

In an effort to minimise their environmental footprint across their stores, Tealive uses paper straws and offer reusable glass tumblers along with steel straws for hardcore bubble tea fans.

Tealive has also recognised the demand for bubble tea not only in Melbourne but across Asia and beyond. In an effort to minimise queues, they won’t be accepting cash payments—worth keeping in mind if you miss out on tomorrow’s freebie.

Find Tealive's CBD outpost at 335-339 Swanston Street, Melbourne.
