We’ve had fried chicken, we’ve had cheese and wine, and we’ve had middle-eastern food. But now it’s time for pizza to shine once again.
The flavours of Naples will take over the Crown Riverwalk during the Crown Live Pizza Festival during the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival.
This free event will feature pizzaioli from all around the world showing you their best dough twirling, sauce spreading, and wood firing techniques.
World champion pizza maker Johnny Di Francesco (of 400 Gradi) will be putting on a masterclass where you can learn how to make the perfect Neopolitan pizza. T’Gallant will also be serving up some delicious crisp wines from their wine bar looking over the Yarra River.
If that’s not enough for you, there will be plenty of activities for the kids, Vittoria Coffee will be on site, as well as Veuve Clicquot, Moretti and Pimms pop-up bars for the adults.
When: Friday 31 March to Sunday 2 April
Where: Crown Riverwalk, Southbank
