Melburnians get their chance to gleefully watch the Australian cricket team thrash the Brits (we're calling it now), when the T20 International comes to town. Held at the MCG, the T20 International is perfect if you love the cricket but the thought of sitting through multiple days bores the heck out of you. Fast-paced, exciting, and with a party atmosphere, it's no wonder that tickets to the T20 International are selling fast.

Are you a pastry fan? If yes (let's be honest, who isn't?!), then a trip to Lune Croissanterie in Elwood needs to be first on your Saturday to-do list. Kate Reid is the kitchen whiz behind Lune Croissanterie, a weekend-only croissant and pastry store responsible for some of Melbourne's best croissants. Stock up on her mouth-watering baked goods from 8:00am but be warned, her croissants tend to sell out so make sure you get there early!

Sunday 2nd February

We have a serious obsession with all things BBQ (mmmm ribs), so when we heard about the Sunday Texas BBQ at The Gem, you can just picture how excited we were. A new weekly event, the Sunday Texas BBQ features a host of authentic American BBQ dishes – think beef brisket, pulled pork and rrrrribs, with sides or corn bread, mashed potato and coleslaw. We're salivating in anticipation.
