We’re done with the Night Noodle Markets, so now it’s time to bring on the rice.

The World Rice Festival kicks off on December 7, to provide you with a global journey of food and culture. Over three summer days and evenings, you'll get to experience culinary delights and cuisines from all over the world, united by one common ingredient: rice.

While that might sound a little bland, it’s not really about the rice—it’s about what goes on top of it and all the flavours it complements. The World Rice Festival team has curated an impressive selection of rice champions for you, including Rice Paper Scissors, Mamasita, Hoy Pinoy, Red Spice Road, Maedaya, Mint O Mustard, Master Roll Vietnam, and many more food vendors that will be serving drool-inducing iterations of rice-based dishes.

Plus, there will be all sorts of performances from the likes of The Sound of Shadows, as well as Japanese Taiko Dancing and Spanish Flamenco at twilight. Sounds spicy.

So if you missed out on the Night Noodle Markets or want to keep the Asian-fusion party going, drop by the World Rice Festival and eat your way through yet another food-filled extravaganza.
