One of Asia’s worst kept cocktail secrets, 28 Hongkong Street, is popping up at the Henrietta Supper Club in Darlinghurst later this month and believe us when we tell you, you probably don’t want to miss it. Hailing from Singapore, the team is heading to Sydney, courtesy of Neat Spirits to join in on the Bar Week festivities.
28 Hongkong Street is known for being a word of mouth bar, so you can consider this your official hot tip. You can expect cocktails like their Coppertone - a tropical twist on the classic Old Fashioned, made with Plantation Original dark rum, virgin coconut oil, five spices pineapple and Angostura bitters and their Prescription Julep, which is a punchy combination of Plantation Jamaican rum, Pierre Ferrand 1840 cognac, mint, and Smith & Cross Jamaican rum.
On the food front, 28HKS will also bring a selection from their American comfort food-style menu, which are designed to share and Instagram (because they look so damn good).
The entry may be free, but booking is an absolute must and they are going fast. We mean reeeealll fast. You can grab yours here.
