There are only 5 more weekends until Christmas guys, just in case you were wondering. With the year quickly coming to a close the weekends are just going to keep getting busier. This weekend the Cameo Outdoor Cinema hits its stride, Rowena Corner Store is turning 60 and Starward Distillery are inviting you to their new Port Melbourne location!

Cameo Outdoor Cinema

The Cameo Outdoor Cinema is back! Fully licensed and featuring a 14m wide screen, headphones and a picnic-style area for deckchair or beanbag seating, Cameo is providing the perfect outdoor cinema experience for the summer. Watch new releases and some oldies in the open-air surrounds of the Dandenong Ranges. Check out all the movie times here!

Japanese Film Festival

The world’s largest Japanese Film Festival kicks off this week! Running from the 24th of November to the 4th of December, the JFF is presenting Japan’s freshest films in drama, anime, comedy, thriller, romance and documentary. The Cashless Market

Love it or hate it, that pesky tap-and-go is everywhere. The guys at The Rose St. Market have recognised this and are putting on a Cashless Market this weekend. Hosting over 70 of Melbourne’s leading makers, crafters, artists and market vendors, the market will be running cashless promotions and competitions throughout the day. Sweet Tooth Truck Festival

All of the desserts! Chocolate, churros, donuts, ice cream, waffles, crepes, vegan baked goods and pretty much every other sweet fantasy you could dream of all in one spot! Kicking off Friday at 5pm and running all day Saturday and Sunday, The Food Truck Park are bringing back their sweetest event for a three-day long dessert bonanza. Check out the full lineup here!

Crown's Japanese Spring Festival

This weekend The Crown Riverwalk will be transformed into an oriental street festival with more than 20 stalls featuring Japanese food and family-friendly arts and crafts including calligraphy, origami and ikebana (flower arranging) workshops. Running through Saturday and Sunday, the festival will have heaps of cultural entertainment, stalls,arts and crafts and of course, a lot of Japanese food. Check out all the info here.

Starward Distillery Open Day

Melbourne’s only urban distillery is making the move to Port Melbourne and is showing off their new digs for an open day this Saturday! Starward will be running free tours every hour where you’ll get to meet the distillers. There’s also going to be food matchings, a killer cocktail list and goods from some of Melbourne's leading makers. More activities will be on throughout the day and will be announced soon. Land Rover Polo In The City

Yep, polo. Like full on, horseback, polo. It’s as awesome as it sounds and this Saturday you can book a marquee or chill out in the lounge with champagne while you watch the best international polo players go at it. Check out the different ticket options here.

Paws On The Lawn

Calling all fur babies! This Saturday The College Lawn Hotel is putting on an afternoon of doggie bliss complete with a doggy ball pit and puppy playpen. Rowena Corner Store Turns 60

Let’s party like it 1956! The Rowena Corner Store are putting on an awesome birthday party this Saturday. With delectable Greek food straight from the spit (is there any other way!), local Richmond beer from Moon Dog Brewery, selections of wine and plenty of champagne to pop it’s sure to be a delicious day out! Northcity4 Artist Market 2016

Just in time for Christmas! Northcity4’s Artist Market is a great opportunity to buy some of Melbourne’s best contemporary jewellery direct from the local artists. This year NC4 have extended the sale to invite local ceramic, textile, glass and floral artists – supporting the atmosphere of the Indoor Forest Launch. The Colour Run

The happiest 5k on the planet is back! Whether you’re a fun run veteran or a first timer, The Color Run is all about having a good time. The 5-kilometer, un-timed fun run sends runners on a trek around Flemington racecourse, where they’re doused in rainbow powders at every kilometre. But the fun doesn’t stop at the finish line!
