This week, we welcome back Melbourne's riverside institute, Arbory, to our growing list of reopenings post-pandemic.
From 12pm to 10pm daily, those hungry for some social interaction and a decent feed can revel in the consolidated menu offering up the classics Arbory is most known for. Highlights include, but certainly aren’t limited to the Great Southern Pinnacle sirloin steak, the double cheeseburger and that chilli dog any self-proclaimed Melbournite should have tried by now.
There’s also a post-lockdown beer and burger combo available between 12pm and 6pm, coming in at $25. You’ll score yourself a glass of the good stuff, too, with Mountain Goat Ale part of the deal.
In a valiant effort to bring culture back to the city, Arbory will be hosting DJs on Friday and Saturday evenings. This weekend will see the likes of party veterans DJ Mugen, JNett, Prequel and HansDC on the decks, with more to be announced in the coming weeks.
It’s known as Melbourne’s longest bar, but the Arbory has since laid claim to a new record for the largest dining capacity under current restrictions with 94 guests allowed at any one time.
Bookings are recommended to avoid disappointment, but walk-ins are welcome dependant on capacity.
