If you're looking to get out of town and take in some natural beauty, the CherryHill Orchard's Blossom Festival might be the perfect event for you.
Not only will there be a beautiful landscape view at the festival, but you’ll also be able to bask in live music and entertainment, cherry-based drinks and take your pick from a whole range of food trucks slinging their wares.
We’re talking Vietnamese Nem Nem, Dum and Dumpling, Mexican favourite Dos Diablos, Real OG Burgers and many more. The music lineup so far includes Melbourne artists Ellery Cohen, Angus Legg and Shaun Black, so prepare for a very relaxed day.
Throughout the day, there will also be giant lawn games, flower crown stalls and face painting. For the kids, there will be a hands-on bee workshop to raise awareness about the importance of bees, followed by some honey tastings. Visitors will also be able to learn how to capture the best photos with a Nikon camera masterclass, so you’ll be leaving with some pretty cool shots.
Escape the city and enjoy this festival just one hour away from Melbourne’s CBD. Cherry blossoms are only around for a small period of time each year, so don’t let this opportunity go to waste.
