Long weekends are actually impossible to dislike, the four-day work week three-day weekend is the perfect ratio, and should be adopted going forward.

But, while we wait for this to happy you may as well make the most of a long weekend when it comes around. This Labor Day long weekend sees the Wine & Cheese Fest return to Williamstown as part of the Melbourne Food & Wine Festival.

Taking place at Seaworks, the event will see more than 50 wine, cheese, and artisan food vendors showcase their gourmet products. There will be hot food, specialty arts & craft stalls, live music, and a dedicated kids zone.

The popular Grape Stomp Comp will return for punters to churn out as much grape juice from their feet as possible—sounds ideal.

If you’re keen on kicking on there will be an after-party at Pirates Tavern from 6pm, entry is free with your Wine & Cheese Fest ticket.
