The NGV Is Throwing A Teen After-Dark Triennial Party

How do you do, young people? First of all, please DM us your secret to eternal youth. Second, we have some news. The National Gallery of Victoria is throwing you a very special after-dark art party.

It’s all part of the NGV Triennial (AKA the greatest cultural phenomenon of all time), and the program is looking outrageously youthful. One night of DJs, food, after-dark art tours, drag, dancing and good wholesome fun.

Here’s a little taster of the program. Melbourne DJ Slimewave and iconic Karen From Finance will be leading the crowd, singing pop hits and spinning RnB tracks all night. T2 will be slinging iced-tea and Pidapipo will be handling the gelato (they’ve invented three new Triennial flavours, just for the event). You’ll also be able to watch poetry slams and check out the Triennial exhibits after hours (when all the plebs have gone home).

Want to get on this one? Too easy. Just rock up on Saturday 7 April with a valid Senior School ID. You have to be between 13 and 17 to get in. Tickets are just $10 (or $8 if you’re already an NGV member).

Stay cool, you crazy kids.
