The Winter Night Market has become a bit of an institution for Melbournian’s, and the 2019 line-up is looking excellent. You can expect to see some city favourites, alongside some newcomers.
Nothing screams ‘Melbourne’ louder than a hot, spiced mulled wine in winter, and ReWine has you covered on this front. Burn City Smokers are also back with their American-style BBQ deliciousness, along with Churro Kitchen – sugar and cinnamon dusted churro bowls, filled with ice cream and hot Nutella. Run don’t walk.
New faces include Mork Chocolate, who knock up a mean hot chocolate. Melted Cheese Bar, I feel like the name says enough there. Ciao Chips, who bring to the table their take on Belgium frites, and Pierogi Pierogi, giving you the perfect winter warmers, goulash and potato pancakes. Just to name a few.
Also worth noting is Christmas in July, giving visitors the opportunity to experience a white Christmas from July 3 till July 31. We’re talking Christmas trees, snow machines, Christmas puddings, eggnog, carolers, and everything in between.
The Queen Victoria Winter Night Market runs every Wednesday night, 5 pm till 10 pm, from June 5 till August 28. Entry is free, with food and drinks for purchase.
