It’s time Sydney. Blessing your news feeds this week is the glorious news of a brand new next level venue landing on Sydney soil and it’ll be a massive gamechanger for your weekly antics.
Coming in hard from the Funlab team that brought you Holey Moley and Strike Bowling, B. Lucky & Sons is finally coming to Sydney.
Having opened its doors in Wollongong earlier this year, and Brisbane and central Melbourne before that, if you haven’t heard about this adults-only arcade and cocktail bar, brace yourself. Sydney’s version will be slotted inside an old pawn shop at Moore Park’s Entertainment Quarter and packed with vintage games, neon lights, sweet prizes, cocktails and pizza.
The actual cocktail line-up and games titles are yet to be confirmed but the Melbourne instalment includes boozy bubble cups, local wines, a bit of Mario Kart and Walking Dead Zombie adventures, so there’s no doubt Sydney’s newest cocktail bar slash video game arcade will have all this and more.
As for the eats, B. Lucky & Sons has conjured up the likes of stonebaked grub pizzas with gravy, potato crisps and sausage plus bags of prawn crackers, fish-shaped ice-cream and lotus root chips dunked in spiced mayonnaise.
B Lucky & Sons is slated to open May 17 so stay tuned for more updates on this one.
