There's no denying that Sydney-siders take their love of pork very seriously; from barbecued pork belly to sticky ribs, fluffy pork buns, to suckling pig, and BACON, pork is everywhere, and we are happier than pigs in mud.

Here at The Urban List, we're big fans of the pulled pork variety, so, to indulge our obsession, and keep you in the know, here are our picks of the best pulled pork in Sydney.

Chur Burger | Surry Hills

We're starting our list of Sydney's best pulled pork with a bang! Yes it's none other than Chur Burger with its succulent strands of pulled pork, topped with Chur's signature BBQ sauce, red slaw, and fennel mayo. Drooling yet? We suggest you go right ahead and order a side of sweet potato fries, garlic and lime, just for good measure.

Hinky Dinks | Darlinghurst

Prefer your pulled pork with a dash of class? Head to Hinky Dinks in Darlinghurst for its mouthwatering pulled pork burger—hands down one of the best offerings of pulled pork in Sydney! The cocktail list is just as impressive with specialties such as popcorn-infused tequila mixed with sparkling grapefruit soda, to help wash that pork down. Craving just a mouthful? The pulled pork taco with piccante mayonnaise and shredded cabbage should do the trick.

Barrio Chino | Kings Cross

For all those pulled pork fanatics, you can't go past Barrio Chino in Kings Cross for your late-night fix. Trust us, munchies have never looked so good! Its Mexican-inspired menu is brimming with meaty deliciousness that will have your tastebuds standing up on end. The smoky jalapeño-apple-braised pulled pork taco with spring onion, pickled daikon and sliced chilli has certainly earned its spot in our round up of Sydney's best pulled pork dishes. You will love it.

The Sandwich Shop | Surry Hills

They say nothing beats the original, and The Sandwich Shop is certainly proving this to be the case. The menu is small, with just a couple of tasty options, but the real star is the slow-cooked, seasoned pulled pork, coleslaw, and house made BBQ sauce all on a toasted organic olive oil roll—need we say more? The Sandwich Shop is a solid favourite with Sydney pork (and sandwich!) lovers, and we are well and truly on board.

Bourke Street Ba| Alexandria, Neutral Bay, Marrickville

The team at Bourke Street Bakery can do no wrong. Once again the talented team are delivering the goods with its dreamy sandwich of chilli pork, red cabbage, fennel, and mayo—simple and damn delicious. There's no doubt Bourke Street Bakery will fill that pork-sized hole in your stomach. Eat up!

The Forresters | Surry Hills

Rounding off our list of Sydney's best pulled pork, is Surry Hills' stalwart, The Forresters. This long-standing institution is keeping Sydney foodies satisfied with its delectable pulled-pork sandwich with cabbage and jalapeno slaw. Pare it back with a jug of your favourite brew and we guarantee there'll be no regrets, just all-round porky satisfaction. Oink oink.
