Look, Champagne sits pretty firmly at the top of our list of ‘essentials,’ so it’s safe to that there were a few squeals in the Urban List office when we discovered that a campaign festival was setting up shop in little old Brisbane for the second year in a row.
But that’s not even the best part. It’s the first Australian festival celebrating champagne—go Brisbane! So, it's not really a surprise that it's back for a third year, then, is it?
Effervescence is set to celebrate all things champagne—not just the drink though, the region too! There will be tastings (YES!) from Laurenti, Pol Roger, Canard-Duchene and Krug—just to name a few—plus masterclasses with champagne experts on hand to guide you. There’s even going to be a champagne trail with (more) tastings, cheese and charcuterie along the way—set on the stunning grounds of Spicers Hidden Vale, we really can't think of anywhere else we'd rather be.
After all the celebrations champagne has helped us through over the years, it’s only fitting we take a moment to celebrate champagne for once.
