Craving a craft beer? Mad about live music? Pining for some pizza? Keen to party like it's 1999? You sound like our kind of people! So we'll definitely be seeing you in the queue when Forester's Beer & Music Hall throws open its Smith Street doors this Friday 29th August. High five!

Popping up in the spot formerly occupied by A Bar Called Barry and brought to us by the crew behind Richmond fave, The Royston, the beer and music hall will feature 32 craft beers pouring from a whopping 50 taps, pizzas to keep things somewhat under control, and rockabilly and bluesy bands rocking out on a regular basis.

A good time venue open til 4am, musos at Forester's Hall will perform on an elevated stage in front of a gold, antique shell from the '20s.

Forester's Hall will throw open its beer hall doors earlier than expected this Friday at 6pm. John McNamara will be playing the blues from 9:30pm, and 40 of the beer taps will be pumping with the golden nectar.

See you at Forester's, folks!
