Forget staying in this winter, the Gold Coast restaurant scene is seriously booming with epic (and incredibly tasty) feasts.
Mark your diaries for Sunday 30 June because Burleigh favourite Restaurant Labart is teaming up with Byron tipple kings, Brookie’s Gin for one delicious day.
The special one-off lunch, celebrating the rainforest and the sea, will feature an incredible five-course feast showcasing the native botanicals used to create the award-winning Brookie’s Gin. Hosted by Brenden Yeo from Cape Byron Distillery, each course will be paired with a Brookie’s Gin cocktail.
We’ve had a sneak peek at the menu and you can expect mouth-watering eats like gin-cured kingfish with finger lime and juniper, BBQ Moreton Bay bug with lemon aspen jam and popcorn ice-cream with Brookie’s Mac to finish.
