You know us. We’re a sucker for the brunch classics. Nothing fancy—a little smashed av’ with chilli and lemon, poached eggs and mushroom...mountains and mountains of pork spare ribs. Wait—what?
If you’re suffering Melbourne brunch fatigue, there’s only one known cure: Fancy Hank’s brand new bottomless BBQ brunch sessions.
This is the brand’s first foray into the brunch space (probably because piles of meat are not what you usually associate with a bouncy start to the day). The new brunch menu is rocking at $50pp, running every Sunday from 12pm – 2pm.
And just to make sure you show up on time, they’re offering bottomless cocktails. We’re talking Pomelo Spritz (Pampelle ruby grapefruit liqueur mixed with mango and Prosecco) and Kentucky Iced Tea (bourbon, iced tea and cherry bitters). Basically anything Foghorn Leghorn would drink.
The brunch menu sounds bang-on too. Fried chicken tamale, smoked pork sausages swimming in gravy, white fish bagels and spicy spare pork ribs. They’re even slinging Hank’s famous toasted cornbread with Jalapeno butter. Excuse us while we drool on the keyboard.
Vegans don’t worry, Fancy Hanks says they can cater for you too (we hear the celery sticks are excellent).
Where: Fancy Hanks, 1/79 Bourke St CBD
When: Every Sunday, 12pm – 2pm
