Move over Zumba, see ya later water aerobics, sayonara Body Attack; we’ve just found our new favourite Melbourne workout.
KX Cycle is the newest addition to the KX Family—a cycle studio with a serious spin (pardon the pun!), launching this month in Richmond with an energetic bang.
If, like me, you’ve spent the last seven years doing same-same-but-different Les Mills spin classes and are craving a little variety (it’s the spice of life, after all), then this is a serious Melbourne fitness must-try. A spin class at KX Cycle is anything but your average 45-minute sesh, and brings the motivation and FUN back to your work out.
KX Cycle offers a unique mind-body cardio work out, targeting your bod from tip to toe. Fusing elements of traditional cycle classes with upper body and endurance training, KX Cycle provides a super high intensity, 500-calorie burning workout. Yup—it may just be the coolest spin class in Melbourne.
The entire spin class at KX Cycle is timed perfectly to epic and super high-energy music—blasted out of state of the art sound systems that seriously bring the bass! Every KX bike is fitted out with free-weights that will permanently rid you of tuck-shop lady arms, as well as your very own pristine white towel (not so pristine by the end of the class though, I assure you!), with two-three tracks during the workout dedicated to a truly ripper upper body workout (and an outstanding test of coordination!).
Not only is the KX Cycle spin workout bringing a little freshness to the Melbourne fitness scene, the fit-out of the studio is next-to-none, with none of the trimmings missing.
Think sleek brick walls, low-hanging exposed lights, slick bathrooms complete with towels, Sukin Organic Range products, and all your hair-prep needs, plus some Nutrition Bar goodies on your way out. Getting ready for work at KX Cycle is honestly better than getting ready at any house I’ve ever lived in…
So, if you’re any kind of Melbourne fitness fan, or any lover of all things mind, body, and soul related (yep, there’s a KX Yoga studio within as well), this is one Melbourne spin studio you seriously have to check out. Like…now.
