Melbourne Is Getting A Cheese Festival

Big news, you guys. Turns out Belinda Carlisle was right and heaven is a place on earth.

At least it will be on Saturday, October 24 when the Prahran Market is hosting a CHEESE FESTIVAL.

Prepare yourselves for an epic day of #allofthecheese, including free tastings, cooking demonstrations from Anthony Femia and Alice in Frames, cheesy pop-up guests, live music and a CHEESE WHEELING RACE (we’re not quite sure we know what this is, but it sounds promising).

Soak up the Prahran Market vibez and check out some fancy fromage from on-site providores Calendar Cheese, Red Cow Cheese and King Island Dairy.

And why not take the opportunity to match your favourite cheese with a glass of wine from Chapel Street Cellars Bar.

We can’t wait to sample some of Milk the Cow’s incredible fondue, alongside Meatmaiden’s legendary mac ‘n cheese and A25 Pizzeria’s classic Margherita pizza.

Mark this date down in your calendar because this day of dairy delight is one event you do not want to miss.
