The Workers Club is turning back the clock to 1993 this Saturday and it's about time.
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of one of the greatest unplugged performances in history, Nirvana: Unplugged in New York will be played in its entirety by an all-star cast of local Melbourne musicians dubbing themselves as Penny & The Royal Teas.
So put on your best pair of ripped jeans and get your flannel on, because this a trip to the 90s you don’t want to miss.
And as if donning 90s garb and listening to Nirvana live isn’t enough of a treat for you, half of the proceeds from the event will be donated to the Cancer Council of Victoria.
