Get Ready To Pop Some Tags, An Op-Shop Bar Just Opened In The CBD

This might be the most ‘Melbourne’ thing we’ve ever had to write up this year: an op shop bar just popped up in the CBD. So if you want to pop tags while pounding back some brewskies, the guys at Doss Closet have got you covered.

At Doss Closet, you’re invited to peruse a collection of vintage threads and are welcome to a free beer with every purchase. There are even clothing and drink pairings, such as denim and Doss Blockos Pale Lager, vintage Vans and New York Cherry Sours, or sundresses and tiki margaritas. Sounds pretty freaking ideal, right?

If that didn’t sound amazing enough, all the proceeds from the sales of clothes at Doss Closet will be given to Polished Man for its campaign to end violence against children worldwide. Last year, the Doss Blockos X Polished Man team received unprecedented support from more than 50 Australian hospitality venues, raising over $50,000 for the cause.

So you can do some good while partaking in two of Melbourne’s most popular activities: vintage shopping and sipping on primo brews. Can we get a ‘hell yes’?

Doss Closet is now open at Mezcalito, Touché Hombre’s sister venue, until January 2020.
