No doubt about it—Melbourne turned up the voltage this week. Proper sun, extreme heat, and only like three thunderstorms. If you chucked a sickie, more power to you. On top of those rays and cloudless skies, there's been a bunch of stuff happening around town you need to know about.

Time to catch up, Melbourne. Here's all the news you missed this week.

  • Amazon just announced that they’re opening their online doors in Australia this week. TBH, it’s about time.

  • Want free beer? Is the sky blue? Leonard’s House of Love is hosting live music and free Blue Moon beer between 3pm and 5pm on November 25. You’re bloody welcome.

  • Get your Summer Sunday Sessions on at Fatto, where you’ll find live DJs on the terrace. We’ll be munching on a $10 Italian burger BTW.

  • We know you can’t resist a good deal, and Pontoon is coming in clutch with the weekly specials, including $10 pizzas on Tuesdays and cheap Rosé (and frosé for the trendy ones) on Saturday.

  • Love Italian food? Of course, you do. Make sure you grab a new Italian snack pack from Enzo’s Pizzeria in Preston. Just don’t tell Nonna.

  • Call off the dogs. We've found the perfect Christmas gift for your cilantro-hatin' enemies. Send them a coriander gift box. Boom.

  • If you like seafood, you’ll like this: Stokehouse is bringing out its raw bar every weekend this summer. Take advantage.

  • Pope Joan announced their Summer Camp Cookouts are back for another year. Pop this one in the diary: Matt Wilkinson's Romesco mussels kick off on 5 December.

  • ATTENTION: BKK is bringing bottomless brunch to Melbourne this Sunday, starting at 12pm. Unlimited beer, bubbles and Aperol Spritz for two hours? Hell yes.

  • Wish you could eat like an American on Thanksgiving? Grab some Thanksgiving grub at San Antone to ease your FOMO. They're slinging turkey legs at the JD Barrelhouse outside Crown till 12 December.

  • This just in. Head to WIlson & Market on Sundays to gorge on bottomless cheese, wine, beer. Yeah, we said bottomless.

  • FREE eclairs. But you gotta be quick. Bibelot pop-up is celebrating its expansion and will be handing out its signature salted caramel eclairs to the first 100 customers at Prahran Market from 10am this Saturday.

  • Chef Daniel Wilson is sharing his food skills with Fitzroy’s Grub Food Van, and it's hitting the road on 28 November. There'll be cocktails, wine and the menu will include DW’s awesome creations.
