Forget Sunday morning, Friday night is when you want to be checking out the David Bowie Is exhibition at ACMI. EUROPEAN NIGHT MARKET | MADAME BRUSSELS LANE
As much as everybody complains about winter, you have to admit, it be can be kind of romantic. Especially when the rich European aromas of mulled wine, German sausages and freshly baked pretzels are involved. Rug up, grab your friends and make a night of it. THE YARRA VALLEY CHOCOLATERIE’S HOT CHOCOLATE FESTIVAL
The Yarra Valley Hot Chocolate Festival launches this Sunday, making for the perfect way to beat the winter chill! There’ll be one-off tastings, top chocolate boffins and a whoooole lot of rich, creamy chocolate goodness on show throughout the festival, which runs for the entire month of August. Okay Listers, listen up. Each Saturday and Sunday of August, a collection of Melbourne’s finest food trucks will gather in The Village for Trailer Park 2015. Adelaide artist Datsun Tran showcases his latest series of drawings and paintings, Beautiful Fierce, at Bromley & Co in Windsor this weekend. With a focus on the raw power of animals, ranging from feisty lions to delicate birds, the artist (who grew up in a refugee family) started out in academia before finding his feet in the creative world.
