Warm Up with a Smokin’ Hot All-American BBQ!

Prepare to heat up your senses, Urban Listers, as Bluebonnet BBQ comes to town with a pop up at the Grub Food Van on Moor Street, Fitzroy!

Chris Terlikar, the devoted ex-Michelin meat man behind Bluebonnet BBQ, will be sizzling his way to super tender beef cheeks and other authentic Texan BBQ fare. He's also chucked (get it?) in the hard yards to master the perfect brisket; infused with distinctive barbecue flavours after 18 hours of slooooow cooking, this'll be one insanely delicious labour of love devoured within seconds!

And if that's not enough to send tongues a-blazing, plate up with Texan style Hot Guts, charcoal pastry tarts by NORA, or chopped brisket in a miso bun served with apple and kohlrabi slaw. Yum! Best of all, Terlikar will be serving his BBQ of delectables straight from a vintage Airstream trailer for that real U.S.Amazing experience.

When you're finally stuffed on trays of Bluebonnet BBQ goodness, refresh those exhilarated taste buds with drinks care of Sailor Jerry. Slurp down spicy rum cocktails – hot toddies and Perfect Storms with fresh ginger, lime and bitters while relaxing amidst the warmth and wilderness of The Grub Van's combustion stove fireplace, water fountains and foliage. You can even indulge in a spot of table tennis.

You'd be crazy to miss out on this Texan style action. With Terlikar's trailer alongside the smoker beast, this is one smokin' joint with one serious bout of BBQ flavours. There's no excuse to not hit up the best barbecue in town. Bring on the heat! 

Note: Grub Food Van have answered our prayers and decided to stay on for another two weeks! Visit the van on Tuesday - Thursday this week or next (10th-12th and 17th-19th).
