To celebrate 50 years of delicious fried chook in Australia, KFC is giving away free buckets of their finger lickin’ chicken tomorrow! Yes, you read that correctly.
While Sydney has gotten fancy with our fried chicken (like pairing them with champagne), we still have a soft spot for the Colonel’s OG recipe, for obvious reasons. The first Australian KFC outlet opened in Guildford in 1968, and now there are more than 625 stores across the country—because you should never be too far from delicious chicken.
The chook giveaway happens this Friday at midday at Circular Quay’s Overseas Passenger Terminal. There’ll be party vibes courtesy of onsite DJs, and fried chicken dished out in 50th anniversary KFC buckets. So, ‘gram your way ‘round lunch and kick off the weekend right. Get your moistened towelettes ready, you don’t want to miss this one.
