When we say Australian PGA Championship you probably think golf, golf, and more golf. But that’s where you’re wrong, friend, because this summer’s Australian PGA Championship has got a stellar line-up planned—and it’s so, so much more than just golf.
For one, there will be food trucks popping up dishing out delectable nosh. We’re talking GC faves like The Naked Spud, Garden Kitchen, Fire ‘N’ Dough and Barraca Portuguese Street Grill, so wear stretchy pants, obvs. Plus, there will be live music from Chris Hutchinson and DJ Ricki Lee! You can even watch the Rugby League World Cup Final live on site (featuring Q&As with players, more of those delicious food trucks, and live entertainment from the Koi Boys)!
There’s plenty of fun for the little ones, too, with MyGolf Kid’s Day presented by Cobra Puma Golf bringing live demos from the best players in town for the tournament, a petting zoo, activities with the Gold Coast Suns and the Gold Coast Titans, plus even more live music to the event.
And if you’re actually here for the golf... Well, the Australian PGA Championship is going down at the RACV Royal Pines Resort from November 30 to December 3 and features Masters Champions Sergio Garcia and Adam Scott as well as Australia’s best performing golfer in 2017 Marc Leishman and defending champion Harold Varner III.
The excitement ramps up on Sunday when the Soniq Million Dollar Hole comes in to play. Professionals get the chance to win big if they score an elusive ace during the final round on the hole.
