There’s nothing fun about running. The sweating, the puffing, the wanting to die rather than take another step (it can’t just be us?)—it’s all too painful to be even close to enjoyable. Unless of course, you throw in mud pits, inflatable waterslides and no less than 2.5 million cubic feet of foam.
That’s just what you’ll find at the 5K Foam Fest, hitting Sirromet Wines on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 January next year. Featuring 22 obstacles full of foam, water, mud and good times, it will have you getting wet, dirty and hopefully having so much fun that you’ll forget you’re even doing exercise.
You may get messy in the three separate mud pits, but hopefully a jog through the Chamber of Foam and the Body Washer will have you sparkling clean in time to cross the finish line, ready to partake in an ice cold beer from the well-stocked beer garden.
Tickets start from $62.70pp and you can get your hands on them here. Now, where can we practice our slip ‘n’ slide technique?
When: Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 January, 2022
Where: Sirromet Winery, Mt Cotton
